Will Mimi Chakraborty replace Subhashree Ganguly in ‘Megh Peon’?

Indraadip Dasgupta is set to direct his new film, ‘Megh Peon,’ featuring Kaushik Ganguly and initially slated to include Subhasree Ganguly. Subhasree withdrew due to her pregnancy, leaving her role possibly open for actress Mimi Chakraborty, who is currently busy with the shooting of her upcoming web series. Neither Indraadip nor Mimi has confirmed this casting choice. If all goes as planned, the film, a tribute to filmmaker Rituparno Ghosh, is expected to start production in October.
