With 900 peacekeepers, India watching Lebanon situation

India is closely monitoring the situation in southern Lebanon, where almost 900 Indian soldiers are stationed as part of the UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL). The UNIFIL has reported rockets and artillery fire in the area, following the ongoing conflict between Hamas and Israel. However, there have been no attacks or blasts in the areas where the Indian contingent is deployed.
