Withdraw 41 diplomats by October 10, India tells Canada

India has reportedly asked Canada to recall over 40 of its diplomats from India by October 10. This comes as relations between the two countries have deteriorated following Canada’s allegations against India over the killing of a Khalistani separatist on Canadian soil. India had previously asked Canada to downsize its diplomatic presence in the country, citing a lack of parity in strength and rank equivalence.
