Woman saves 7-month-old son from leopard’s jaws

A courageous woman from a village in Pune saved her seven-month-old son from a leopard attack. The woman, who was sleeping in an open farm with her child and a flock of sheep, woke up to find the leopard trying to drag her baby away. She screamed, charged at the animal, and hit it with a stone, causing it to drop the infant and flee. The child suffered minor injuries but is in stable condition. The incident highlights the need for better accommodation for shepherds in leopard-prone areas.
