16 flights diverted, several cancelled due to cyclone in Chennai

Bouts of sudden showers and heavy crosswinds made landings tough at Chennai airport forcing a few pilots to do a go-round and reattempt to touch down when Cyclone Mandous started its landfall close to midnight.
