1st arm of 3rd Vashi creek bridge opens north-bound traffic bottleneck gone

The inauguration of the first carriageway of the Vashi creek bridge expansion project has eased the bottleneck, benefiting traffic heading towards destinations like Goa and Pune. The addition addresses congestions caused by traffic from ten lanes merging into the existing six-lane bridge. The third bridge, TCB-3, aims to alleviate jams, with completion slated for 2024 and 2025.
