1st T20I: Russell’s heroics propel WI to victory over England

Andre Russell made a remarkable return to international cricket, guiding West Indies to a thrilling four-wicket victory over England in the opening Twenty20 International. Despite a two-year absence, Russell excelled with both bat and ball, taking three wickets for just 19 runs off four overs. He restricted the world champions to a total of 171. England, after a strong start with a 77-run opening partnership, were eventually all out. Russell, along with skipper Rovman Powell, steadied the ship with a quick-fire 29 not out off just 14 balls.
