275 fined in 2 months for filming around Kedarnath shrine

From May 22 to July 28, Rudraprayag police issued 275 challans to individuals shooting videos around Kedarnath temple, as revealed by an RTI reply. The prohibition, under the Uttarakhand Police Act, 2007, aims to uphold sanctity and manage crowds at Char Dham shrines. A total of Rs 78,500 was collected in fines.
