31 kids in Bihar fall sick after consuming medicine given at school health check-up

31 children in Bihar’s Ara fell ill after taking filariasis medicine, which is used to treat a chronic parasitic infection transmitted by mosquitoes. The children had received the medication as part of a school health campaign. They were admitted to Ara Sadar Hospital for treatment but are now reported to be in stable condition.
