34 Iran women prisoners on hunger strike: Jailed Nobel peace laureate

On September 15, 2024, thirty-four female political prisoners in Iran’s Evin Prison started a hunger strike to mark two years since the ‘Woman, Life, Freedom’ movement and Mahsa Amini’s death. The protest aims to oppose government oppression and show solidarity with the Iranian people.
