4 dead in torrential rains in Uttarakhand, many highways blocked due to landslides

Uttarakhand’s Kumaon region faces severe disruption due to heavy rains causing landslides and road blockages. Four people have died, and two are missing as a result. A total of 478 roads, including national highways, are blocked. Authorities are making efforts to clear the routes and evacuate residents to safer places.
