4 more railway stations in Kerala join Rs 100 crore club

Four additional railway stations in Kerala—Ernakulam Town, Kannur, Palakkad Jn, and Kollam—have achieved annual revenues exceeding Rs 100 crore, increasing the total number of such stations to eight. Authorities propose elevating these stations to NSG 2 category for improved amenities and infrastructure. Ernakulam Town station reported a revenue of Rs 139.08 crore for the year 2023-’24.
