40-year-old woman defrauded of Rs 94 lakh in Navi Mumbai

A 40-year-old businesswoman was allegedly defrauded of Rs 94 lakh by three individuals and a finance company. They convinced her that securing a loan by mortgaging her firm’s equipment was necessary for obtaining a tender. The loan was taken and siphoned off, prompting the victim to file a police complaint in Navi Mumbai.
