6th wolf killed by villagers in UP’s Bahraich, ending seven-month fear

Villagers in Mahsi Tehsil, Bahraich, killed a sixth wolf, ending a seven-month ordeal of wolf attacks that caused nine deaths and over 50 injuries across 55 villages. A wolf attempted to attack a child in Imam Khan Purwa on October 6 but was thwarted by the villagers, who ultimately killed it. Forest officials are investigating the incident.
