7-storey housing society for elderly in Gomtinagar soon

The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has announced plans to construct a seven-storey apartment building exclusively for senior citizens in Gomtinagar’s Viraj Khand. The LDA will cancel the allotment of land given to the railways and create residential space for senior citizens instead. The apartments will be designed with the needs of senior citizens in mind, including spacious balconies and bathrooms, as well as facilities such as meditation centers and gyms. The flats will be allotted on a lease to individuals above the age of 60 who live away from their families.
