8 charred to death in car-truck collision on UP highway

Eight people, including a child, were charred to death after a head-on collision between a dumper and a car on Bareilly-Nainital Highway on Saturday. The accident occurred in Bhojipura police station area of UP due to a burst tire that led to the collision with a dumper from Uttarakhand. A massive explosion followed the collision, causing both vehicles to erupt in flames. Police said that upon their arrival at the scene, the SUV was already engulfed in flames.
