9-yr-old shoolboy suffers over 20 dog bites in Surat

A nine-year-old schoolboy was attacked by a pack of stray dogs near Umra village near Piplod. The dogs mauled him, biting him at least 20 times on his head and entire body. The boy’s father is a labourer and they live near the floral garden in Umra. The Animal Birth Control programme teams of Surat Municipal Corporation caught four canines as part of their drive to impound stray dogs.
