97% cases of atrocities against SCs in 2022 reported from 13 states: Report

In 2022, Uttar Pradesh led with 12,287 cases out of the total 51,656 atrocities against Scheduled Caste people reported across India. Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh followed closely. The report identified specific vulnerable districts and mentioned that SC/ST protection cells have been established in multiple states to address these issues.
