Rahul Navin appointed ED chief for 2 years

The Centre appointed Rahul Navin as the full-time director of the Enforcement Directorate for a fixed tenure of two years. A 1993-batch IRS officer, Navin has been with the agency since 2019 and has expertise in international taxation, Foreign Exchange Management Act, and Prevention of Money Laundering Act. His appointment was formalized after holding additional charge since September last year.
