Badlapur sexual assault: Girl did not identify culprit, teacher thought abuse occurred elsewhere

On August 13, a girl reported sexual abuse at her school to her parents, describing the assailant as a ‘dada with a stick’. Her parents and school staff failed to identify the culprit. Subsequently, a second victim’s medical report confirmed abuse, leading her family to approach the police on August 16 with the assistance of a local politician.
