Nat’l panel nod to 20 more MBBS seats, 17 more MS/MD at GMC

The National Medical Commission has permitted Goa Medical College to expand its MBBS seats to 200 for the academic year 2024-25. Several postgraduate MD/MS courses will also see an increase in seat numbers. Health Minister Vishwajit Rane emphasized that this expansion aims to enhance medical education and address growing healthcare needs.
