If migrant labourer dies on duty, boatowner to pay family Rs 25L: CM

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has directed boat owners to pay Rs 5 lakh each to the families of five migrant laborers who died of cholera at Cutbona jetty. The government will also provide Rs 5 lakh per family. Boat owners must equip boats with first aid kits and ensure timely medical attention for workers.
