Transporters, RTO clash over yatra check posts

The Dehradun regional transport office is facing allegations of constructing three Char Dham yatra check posts without following due process. The city bus transport association claims that there was no notification or tender issued for the development of the check posts, and that the allocated funds were higher than necessary. However, the regional transport officer denies the allegations, stating that the check posts were built to improve facilities for tourists and pilgrims, and that the expedited process was approved by the government.
