Sept sets tempo for vehicle sales in festive season

Rural and urban demand for cars has led to an increase in vehicle sales in September, setting the stage for Navratri and Diwali sales. Two-wheeler sales rose by 66%, while car sales increased by 8% compared to the same period last year. The demand for premium segment cars, SUVs, and MUVs is driving the overall demand. The growth rate of car and two-wheeler sales is higher in rural areas due to a good monsoon and improved agriculture earnings.
