Shaktikanta Das: Don’t tag countries as currency manipulators

He called on global agencies, such as the IMF, to avoid labeling countries as “currency manipulators” or adding them to watchlists. Das emphasized the importance of strong foreign exchange reserves, citing India’s $587 billion reserves as a buffer against capital outflows and the spillover effects of actions taken by advanced economies.
