Saudi Arabia, Japan agree to cooperate to ease Middle East tensions

Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman discussed improving humanitarian conditions in Gaza and reducing tensions in the Israel-Hamas conflict. Japan, as the chair of the G7, has also announced plans to provide $10 million in emergency humanitarian aid to Gaza. US President Joe Biden, during his visit to Israel, expressed solidarity in the country’s war against Hamas and stated that a blast at a Gaza hospital was not caused by Israel.
