Eflu students likely to knock UGC door over sexual assault

Students at the English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU) in Hyderabad are considering approaching the University Grants Commission (UGC) to seek justice for an alleged sexual assault on campus. They are demanding the resignation of the vice-chancellor and proctorial board, as well as the withdrawal of a complaint filed against protesting students. The students have received support from MPs from Kerala, who have written to the UGC and the central education minister in support of their cause. Various student organizations have also expressed solidarity with the protesting students.
