Visit Yemen at own risk: HC to mom of nurse on death row

The Delhi high court permits Indian nurse Nimisha Priya’s mother to travel to Yemen to negotiate for blood money, despite the travel advisory notification by the Centre. Nimisha was sentenced to death for the murder of Talal Abdo Mahdi, who had abused and tortured her. The appellate court upheld the capital punishment in 2022. The court asks the mother to file an affidavit with travel details. Two individuals are willing to accompany her.
