Neither will Cong return to office nor will CAA go: Amit Shah

On Monday, home minister Amit Shah criticized Congress leader P. Chidambaram’s assertion that the Citizenship (Amendment) Act 2019 (CAA) and the three recent criminal laws would be repealed if Congress were to assume power, labeling it as blatant appeasement. Shah claimed that Chidambaram’s party had displayed a loss of confidence after witnessing the initial phase of voting.
