A dam collapses in eastern Sudan after heavy rainfall, dozens missing

Heavy rainfall has caused the collapse of the Arbaat dam in Sudan’s Red Sea state, leaving extensive damage in its wake. Four fatalities have been confirmed by the health ministry, which has deployed resources for rescue. Local reports suggest that at least 60 people are presumed dead and more are missing.
