AAP not to contest Maharashtra assembly poll to avoid repeat of Haryana outcome

Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will not contest the 2024 Maharashtra assembly elections, aiming to prevent vote division that could benefit the BJP, as experienced in Haryana. AAP will instead support INDIA bloc allies like Sharad Pawar’s NCP and Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena.
