Acquisition of 970 navigation systems, 22 interceptor boats gets nod

The Defence Ministry approved the procurement of about 970 advanced land navigation systems for Army armoured vehicles and 22 interceptor boats for the Coast Guard. The navigation systems, provided by Bharat Electronics Ltd, Chennai, offer high encryption and accuracy. The interceptor boats aim to enhance the Coast Guard’s coastal surveillance capabilities.
