‘Advocating violence…’: Bengal BJP chief writes to Amit Shah, calls Mamata ‘anti-national’

The Kolkata doctor rape-murder case has triggered a political clash between the ruling TMC and the Bengal BJP. BJP chief Sukanta Majumdar has accused CM Mamata Banerjee of “endorsing” revenge politics and urged Union home minister Amit Shah to take prompt action. Majumdar, in a letter addressed to Amit Shah, said Mamata Banerjee “shamelessly incited gathering” and made “anit-national” remarks.
