After ban, Centre allows seizure of Shabir party assets

Two days after banning jailed separatist leader Shabir Shah’s Jammu & Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP), the Centre delegated powers on Saturday to the J&K administration to order seizure of its funds, properties and assets under the UAPA law. The Union ministry of home affairs (MHA) issued a notification to this effect.
