Amazon beta launches GenAI shopping assistant Rufus in India

Amazon introduced Rufus, an AI-powered shopping assistant, in beta version for Indian customers. Rufus is designed to help discover products, answer questions, and provide personalized recommendations in 13 Indian languages. Its rollout will be progressive, enhancing the shopping experience with Amazon’s product catalogue data, customer reviews, and community Q&As.
