Ambani scions get shareholder nod for Reliance board position

Billionaire Mukesh Ambani’s three children, Akash, Isha, and Anant, have been approved by shareholders to join the board of Reliance Industries Ltd, India’s most valuable company. While Akash and Isha received over 98% of the votes for a board seat, Anant, whose appointment was initially opposed due to his young age, received 92.7% of the votes. This move is part of a succession plan announced by Mukesh Ambani, who will continue as chairman and CEO for five more years.
