Amid Odisha custody abuse row, Puja held at police station; CCTVs installed

In response to the alleged assault on an Army Captain and molestation of his fiancée, Bharatpur police station in Bhubaneswar conducted a ‘graha santi’ puja and installed 25 CCTV cameras. The Odisha government has directed that all police stations be equipped with CCTV cameras by October 8 for better surveillance.
