Andhra CM Naidu’s govt removes Jagan Mohan Reddy’s name from student schemes

The state education department of Vijayawada renamed six student welfare schemes previously named after YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Eminent personalities such as Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and APJ Abdul Kalam were chosen for the new names. This change, endorsed by minister Nara Lokesh, aimed to remove politics from education and honor individuals who contributed significantly to the field.
