Annamalai slams TN police for ‘downplaying’ petrol bomb incident

BJP state president K Annamalai criticized the Tamil Nadu police for downplaying the petrol bomb incident at Raj Bhavan. He stated that the DMK had diminished the reputation of the police force and questioned the police commissioner’s statement that the bomb was only thrown outside the Raj Bhavan, not inside. Annamalai compared this to stating someone was attacked with a knife but not killed. He also mentioned a similar incident in Coimbatore where the police misidentified a bomb blast as a cylinder explosion, which was later revealed to be a terrorist plot. Annamalai blamed the DMK government for the state of the police force.
