‘Apologise, resign’: TMC takes action against WB minister for misbehaving with woman official

Trinamool Congress sought the resignation of West Bengal’s correctional homes minister Akhil Giri after a video surfaced showing him verbally abusing a female forest officer. Giri used derogatory language towards Manisha Shaw, calling her disrespectful and threatening her with violence. He later expressed regret and stated he would resign and personally submit it to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
