Apple Pencil USB-C vs Pencil 2nd-generation vs Pencil 1st-generation: How the three Apple Pencils compare

Apple has launched a new Apple Pencil with a USB-C port, making it the cheapest option in their lineup. The design is similar to the 2nd-generation model, with a matte finish and magnets for attachment. However, the USB-C model does not support magnetic charging or pressure sensitivity like the other models. It can be charged via USB Type-C cable and requires the same port for pairing. The new Apple Pencil is compatible with several iPad models.
