Armed men loot Rs 90 lakh from bank in Bihar

A group of six armed robbers, with faces covered, looted Rs90 lakh from an Axis Bank branch in ADB Chowk, Araria. The robbers fired three rounds in the air, threatened bank employees and customers at gunpoint, and locked them in a room during the noon-time heist. Tiger Mobile and QRT police teams’ members were suspended in connection with the incident. Police are reviewing CCTV footage to identify the culprits, while raids are underway to apprehend the robbers who escaped on motorbikes. The exact amount stolen is yet to be confirmed by the bank officials.
