Army boosting aviation corps with new choppers, armed drones & missiles

The Indian Army is enhancing its strike, surveillance, and airlift capabilities by inducting various helicopters, drones, and missiles. Plans are under way to induct 126 light utility helicopters, 90 combat choppers, six heavy-duty Apache gunships, and 25 advanced light helicopters. The Army Aviation Corps is also setting up additional integrated aviation brigades. The recent induction of Israeli drones has boosted strategic surveillance along the Line of Actual Control.
