Arrested Karnataka ex-mantri ran tribal funds racket: ED

Former Congress minister B Nagendra arrested for alleged involvement in a Rs 94 crore scam at Karnataka Maharshi Valmiki Scheduled Tribes Development Corporation. Funds were reportedly transferred to mule accounts using stolen identities. Search underway for Nagendra’s associate, Congress MLA Basanagouda Daddal, in connection to the case.
