Artist Chintan Upadhyay found guilty of conspiracy to kill wife

Artist Chintan Upadhyay has been found guilty of criminal conspiracy and abetment in the 2015 murder of his estranged wife, artist Hema Upadhyay. Three co-accused have also been convicted for committing the actual murder and destroying evidence. The sentence is expected to be announced on Saturday after arguments on the punishment. Chintan’s lawyer has requested time for submissions on sentencing aspects.
