As monsoon takes a break, Bengalureans sweat through warm days & nights

Bengaluru experienced summer-like weather with increased humidity and temperatures during the monsoon season due to the monsoon-break phase and southerly winds from the Indian Ocean. The IMD predicted that these conditions would last for 4-5 days. The withdrawal of El Nino conditions is expected by the end of August, paving the way for monsoon rains in September and October.
