ASI suspended over ‘assault’ video in West Bengal

Siliguri Metropolitan Police has suspended ASI Tania Roy after a video showed her allegedly assaulting minors while intoxicated. This incident happened at Sri Guru Vidya Mandir School, where Roy, part of the Pink Patrol for women’s safety, reportedly refused to let the minors call their parents. A departmental enquiry is underway.
