At 41 lakh, January-May foreign tourist arrivals up 9%

Between January and May this year, India saw a growth in foreign tourist arrivals and foreign exchange earnings compared to the same period last year. 40.7 lakh foreign tourists visited, a 9.1% increase from last year, and foreign exchange earnings grew by nearly 22.5%. Measures were taken to rejuvenate the tourism sector post-pandemic.
