At Rs 28.6k crore, govt to set up 12 industrial cities

The cabinet committee on economic affairs has cleared the development of 12 new industrial cities with a total investment of Rs 28,600 crore. These cities will be spread across multiple states and are expected to generate around 10 lakh jobs. Basic infrastructure for these projects is aimed to be developed within three years.
