August CPI inflation rises marginally to 3.65%; second lowest in last 5 years

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) inflation for August 2024 rose slightly to 3.65% from July’s 3.6%, remaining within the RBI’s target range of 2-6%. The Index of Industrial Production (IIP) growth rate for July was 4.8%.
